New Delhi: Congress has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi
has ignored the government sector companies during his five-year tenure
and has worked for the benefit of selected private sector companies.
Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu said in a special press conference in the party headquarters here on Saturday that during his tenure,
Shri Modi has given rights to government companies by employing
some of his friends and giving them jobs and public sector companies are on the verge of collapse.
In the meantime, companies of Adani and Ambani group companies were given contracts and millions of Rupees was raised for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He said that during this period Shri Modi traveled about 55 countries and worked for those private cmpanies.
They got work order , which the public sector companies should have got.
This has caused tremendous loss to the country’s exchequer.
He also alleged that Mr. Modi did not take any public sector company’s officer in any foreign travels,
while industrialists Adani and Ambani have often been in the delegation accompanying him on these visits.
The Congress leader said that Shri Modi has ignored all the companies like public sector company DRDO, NTPC, BSNL, HAL, BHEL.
The work that these companies should have received was given to inexperienced companies of Adani and Ambani.
These public sector companies were favored and benefited from private sector companies.
