Silver medalist Bajrang Punia remains on the top

New Delhi: Silver medalist of the world championship winner, Indian wrestler

Bajrang Punia, has been crowned champion in the  World Wrestling.

This indian silver medalist was World Ranking and is ranked No. 65 in the

65-kg freestyle category.

This time in the ranking of UWW, 15 Indian wrestlers are included.

This is the first time that more Indian wrestlers have got place in this ranking.

Bajrang has been ranked at number one with 78 points and he is 18 points

away from Japan’s wrestler, Takuto Otogura, with 60 points in second place.

In the 61 kg freestyle category, Rahul Avare is at number six with 26 points

and Amit Dhankar is in 10th place with 74 points in the 74kg category.

Praveen Rana with 28 points, Pravin Rana with 28 points; Deepak Punia in 28kg category,

28th in the Ninth, 92kg category, Ninth with Vicky 25 points in 92kg category

and Sumit in the 125kg category is at the eighth position with 36 points.

In the category of 57 kg category, fourth in the Puja Dhanda ranking, Bija Eighth

in the 50kg category, Vinesh Phogat sixth in the 53kg category, Sarita fifth in the

59kg category and Manju are in the ninth place.

In the 65 kg category Ritu Fogat is in the tenth and 68kg category, Divya Kakarna

is in tenth place.

This time the name of the Indian wrestler has been included in the Greco-Roman

style rankings of UWW. Gyanendra got the ninth place in the 60-kg category.
