US Secretary of State Mike Ponpio condemned Afghanistan attack

Washington: US Secretary of State Mike Ponpio strongly condemned the Tuesday terror attack in Afghanistan.

Mr. Ponpio issued a press release saying,

“Through these attacks, the Taliban have damaged the people of Afghanistan and the institutions there.” In order to reconcile the people of Afghanistan, the Taliban must show a genuine commitment to peace by renouncing violence. Violence is detrimental to the people and the future of the country. ”

Mr. Ponpio said that the Taliban have taken responsibility for the attacks in Kabul and Charikar.

More than 40 people have died in these attacks.

The Taliban have carried out several terrorist incidents this month in protest against the presidential election to be held in late September.

Many candidates have canceled their election campaign due to terrorist attacks in the election rally.

The Afghanistan administration has started a special operation in view of security at polling booths.

US Secretary of State to visit Saudi Arabia and UAE

Mike Ponpio will visit Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after the recent attack at the petroleum refinery.

The US State Department reported this on Tuesday.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Mr. Ponpio will visit Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah and the UAE city of Abu Dhabi from 17 to 19 September.

According to the statement, Mr. Jeddah will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah to discuss the recent drone attack at the petroleum refinery, while during a visit to Abu Dhabi, he will meet the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during bilateral issues.

Will talk on Mr. Ponpio is visiting Saudi when he was attacked by a drone in the Petroleum Refinery last Saturday.

Due to this attack, petroleum production has been affected significantly.
