Bengaluru: ISRO has thanked the entire country for being together in Chandrayaan 2.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has thanked the people of the country and people who have been out of the country for being deeply involved with the Chandrayaan-2 mission and said that it will always be on the path towards success.
ISRO has on Tuesday thanked its source of inspiration for making new achievements in space by releasing a photo on its official Twitter handle. Tweeted,
“Thank you for standing with us.
It is noteworthy that ISRO successfully launched Chandrayaan-2 on 22 July.
Chandrayaan-2 has three parts, Arbiter, Lander Vikram and Rover Pragyan.
The lander Vikram Rover was scheduled to make a ‘soft landing’
at the south pole of the moon on September 7 with Pragya,
but ISRO lost contact with him at the last minute.
Despite the mission not being completely successful,
the US space agency NASA (NASA), including many people around the world, also encouraged ISRO.
The entire country is proud of the success of Chandrayaan 2
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ISRO scientists and said,
“Our willpower to touch the moon has been strengthened and the resolution has become even stronger”.
He had described this mission with pride and said that the entire country
is proud and 130 crore people of the country are with ISRO.
Apart from the last phase of Chandrayaan 2, the entire campaign has been successful.
Only in the last phase, Chandrayaan 2’s Vikram lander has not landed on the moon properly.
Apart from this, the entire work of the expedition has been completed with efficiency.
