New Delhi: The Shining substance of moon, which raised curiosity, is nothing

abnormal but melted rock only. After continuous research on it for about a year,

its results have been found. The Shining and jelly-like substance was discovered

by China’s Moon Rover from one of the deepest trenches on the moon. This is the

incident of August of the previous year. Since then, scientists were constantly

trying to understand what the shining and sticky substance actually is. Now we

have got clear information about it. The Academy of Science of China has

published an extended report about this. It has now been told that it is actually a

type of molten stone due to meteorite falling there. It is called Impact Melt

Brescia in scientific language. That is, when a meteorite falls on a surface rapidly,

the stones below the surface are also broken by its strong impact. Amidst this

friction, some parts of the stone melt due to heat and make such an appearance.

This report of Chinese scientists has also been published in the journal Earth and

Planetary Science Letters. Remember that as part of China’s moon mission. It has

landed its side of the moon, which is not visible from the earth. After taking off

the vehicle, the rover sent in it has been examining the samples there. In this

sequence, this rover, called yutu saw this sticky substance from one of the moons

of the moon.

The shining substance was under continuous research

Scientists have been doing research on the data sent by the rover for almost a

year. Only after completion of this work, that sticky substance has been called

Impact Melt Breccia. After staying in this state for a long time, they have become

green and bright colors. For this reason, he was seen as glowing gelatinous

substance in the rover’s camera. Earlier, some similar specimens were collected in

Apollo 15 and Apollo 17. He was named sample 15466 and sample 70019 at that

time. Later, scientists considered them to be Bracea.

China’s Change 4 space craft Rover Samples While Visiting Different Areas of

the Moon Is investigating The camera installed in this rover is sending pictures of

the same to its control room. This jelly-like material found in the southern part of

the moon is called the von Carman crater. The panoramic camera in this rover

vehicle is also lashed with infra red facilities. Therefore, the data of images taken

from it is also analyzed with an infra red imaging spectrometer. When it was first

seen on August 17 last year, scientists were also surprised to see such sticky

material in the hard moon and extremely cold terrain. Normally, no substance can

be imagined to be in solid state amidst such cold weather. The plants and insects

that were sent to the Chinese vehicle also died due to this cold. Only the seed of

cotton was wilted after flowering.

Moon stones were melted by a sharp collision

Now the viscous material has been considered to be a replacement for the stone,

which has reached such a state between friction and strong heat due to the

collision of a meteorite hitting at a rapid speed. Being a stone in the original form,

it remains in this sticky form. The specimen seen was about twenty inches long

and six inches wide in size. By seeing this, some chemical reaction is caused by

collision of meteorite, scientists have also got new information about it. After its

chemical analysis, it has been reported that this molten stone is also made up of

45 percent plagioclase, seven percent pyrogen and six percent olivine. These

essences are minerals that are commonly available on the moon.
