Dhaka: Indian female terrorist has been arrested in Dhaka. She is originally from
India. The anti-terrorist squad has arrested the woman, who was banned there
from Jamayatul Mujahideen of Bangladesh (JMB). According to the information
that has just been received about the arrested woman, her name is Ayesha Jannat
aka Jannatul Tasmin aka Pragya Devnath. She was presented in court after arrest.
The court sent her to police custody for two days. So that they can ask more
inquiries. Disguising her identity, the 25-year-old woman was a teacher in a
madrasa in Kiraniganj, south of the Budhi Ganga. Even after being a teacher
there, she was running an online program for the recruiting women for terrorist
groups. It is believed that she used to get money from abroad for this work.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Sheikh Imran Hussain told reporters that
actually she was an Indian citizen.
Indian female converted to Islam later
The woman, who was originally Hindu, later converted to religion and had been
in contact with terrorists for a long time. On 7 February 2020 Asma, the head of
the women’s wing of JMB, was arrested from Motijheel area. Only after this
woman’s life was recognized by Asma, she started working to inspire women for
terrorists. Since the arrest of Asma, this Indian woman was handling the online
recruitment of the women’s terrorist organization. According to the news, some
men also came in contact with her in this online restoration. She used to get
money from many countries for this work. She used an Indian passport to visit
Bangladesh since 2016, but in September last year, she obtained her fake birth
certificate in Kiraniganj. It was on this basis that she acquired citizenship of
Bangladesh. Despite her hiding and secret activities, she came in the notice of anti
terrorists squad of bangladeh. Its is the first time where any Indian origin female
has been nabbed for anti national and terrorists activities at Bangladesh.
